Greetings from Holland Chair by Rob Eckhardt for Pastoe, Netherlands, 1980s

The “Groeten uit Holland” (Greetings from Holland) chair is a unique design by Rob Eckhardt, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1980.

Inspired by the Dutch tulip, this asymmetrical chair has an eye-catching style! It is upholstered in a nice light beige leather. This materials adds a really nice contract to the black metal base, both in structure and color. It adds a sense of luxury to this iconic piece! A wonderful find of Dutch design that will be a valuable addition to any decor. It has a very comfortable seat as well, allowing to seating positions: the regular position, or sideways for a real lounge experience.

The piece remains in good, vintage condition. It is structurally sound but well used as reflected in the leather, but without real damages.
