Set of 2 black Ponza ashtrays designed by Bruno Munari and made by “Danese Milano” in 1958. These examples are originals from the first series and not re-editions.
The ashtray from the ground are made up of an aluminum sheet folded and inserted in the extruded metal tube with a square section, removable to be emptied.
Made stable with a weight on the bottom, perfect outdoor.
Present in the permanent exhibition of The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, in the Milan Triennale and many other museums in the world.
Black colour.
The piece of 42cm in height has been out of production for some time and is very rare.
