The “Family” Jugs, is a porcelain crafted set of three jugs resembling a family of three: mum, dad and kid. Their subtle curved shapes display different personalities.
The medium one is the clumsy dad, with a round shape and a less elegant position. The porcelain finishing on the outside is brushed and sanded to a matte texture. The inside of the jugs is glazed with glossy glass layer. The ensamble is fired at 1400 celsius degrees three times. The process of slip-casting, drying, sharpening the edges, polishing the surfaces, firing, sanding and brushing, and then the consequent glazing firing are done with extreme care, by hand in local workshops in Spain.
