Original circa 1815 regency mahogany brass and leather chiffonier sideboard with gallery rail and faux book front. A truly stunning piece of original English regency furniture. These were designed for hiding your silverware, from the outside it looks like a gillows of Lancaster open library bookcase but it actually has two large cupboards which house a large storage area. This piece is of absolutely sublime quality, the timber is flamed mahogany, the brass work is all gold gilt and beautifully aged, the fretwork gallery rail to the top is sublime, this really is a wonderful piece of English heritage furniture condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect dimensions height:- 129.5cm width:- 107cm depth:- 36cm.
