Antique Chippendale Mahogany Drop Front Bureau from Arnold Bros, 1900s

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely circa 1900 mahogany drop front bureau in the Thomas Chippendale style made and stamped by Arnold Bros A good looking and well-made piece, it has Chippendale style fret work carving, the handles are in the style of Gillows, it is a good find. In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it all over. The timber is in good period condition throughout Dimensions Height:- 100cm Width:- 78cm Depth:- 43cm extending to 74cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
