Stunning French kingwood side cabinet. This piece stands upon shaped legs with quality ormolu mounts a shaped apron again with ormolu mounts. Circa 1850. Featuring tambour doors which open to reveal 1 shelf. The shaped sides of the cabinet having floral marquetry inlays. The top of the cabinet being of a quartered veneered form with crossbanding and gilt metal mouldings and glorious ormolu mounts to the corners. Size: height 33 1/2″ (85cm) width 46″ (117cm) depth 17″ (43cm).
